I am a corporate recovery and insolvency specialist with more than 15 years’ experience. My broad practice covers advising on all formal processes including administrations, liquidations, schemes and voluntary arrangements. I am a litigator by background and regularly advise on cross-border matters, EU and international insolvency legislation, often arising out of fraud. I successfully defended the attempted international enforcement to the Supreme Court in the leading case of Rubin and Eurofinance.I act for creditors of failed institutional, financial, professional services, retail and industrial businesses. I also act for debtors, directors and boards.I also advise on all aspects of data protection.

I am an insolvency litigator and a partner at Keystone Law and at DCQ Legal. At Keystone I advise on cross-border and English insolvency, commercial litigation and data privacy matters. I advise corporates and directors pre-insolvency; debtors and creditors on voluntary arrangements, administrations, liquidations and bankruptcies; and all involved in insolvency on asset recovery and insolvency litigation. I also advise on director disqualifications and company restorations.At DCQ Legal, a boutique restructuring firm, I advise funds, corporates and distressed investors on special situations. Many of our clients are junior creditors of multinationals and financial institutions. We work alongside other law firms, particularly when there are conflicts.A significant part of my work is cross-border, often where there has been large-scale fraud. I have taken two cases to the UK Supreme Court - Rubin v Eurofinance (for the successful appellant) and Kireeva v Bedzhamov (for the trustee in bankruptcy), both cases relating to the ambit of modified universalism in insolvency.I was previously a partner in the capital markets group at Brown Rudnick. Before that I was at Addleshaws, BLP and Simmons & Simmons.
