ABOUT PARUL GOSWAMI

As a Team Lead - Data Scientist at Optum, I lead a team of three Data Analysts, delivering eight projects with 100% on-time delivery, and achieving incremental annual revenue of 100M USD. I use Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power BI, SQL, and Python to solve complex data analytics problems and generate insights for various business functions.I have a strong research background in Software Engineering, with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree from Delhi Technological University. Before joining Optum, I was a Business Analyst at OYO, where I worked on projects such as Project Hello, which decoded consumer travel behavior in the post-covid world and created a model to predict the occupancy of hotels globally using Poisson regression. I also owned the end-to-end profit and loss of the portfolios of OYO Vacation Homes and UK & and Europe hotels, working with all core functions to identify trends, patterns, outliers, and issues.I am passionate about data analytics and its applications in various domains, such as healthcare, hospitality, and travel. I value collaboration, innovation, and customer satisfaction, and I strive to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs and expectations of the stakeholders. My goal is to leverage my skills and experience to contribute to the growth and success of Optum and its clients.
