WORK HISTORY
Occasional Scientific Consultant, Playtester @Steve Jackson Games
Steve Jackson Games\' Generic Universal RolePlaying System is a pen and paper roleplaying game system that has evolved over 20 years. The game rules are written with a great deal of depth in understanding the technical aspects of the subject matter, whether it is how weapons and armor work, or how to apply current understanding of molecular biology and genetics in the development of game materials regarding genetic engineering. To this end, I have been a playtester and occasionally a consultant on several roleplaying game projects that have been released through Steve Jackson Games of Austin, TX. Specifically, I have been a playtester on:GURPS Space, 4th Edition, GURPS Bio-Tech, 4th Edition, GURPS Low-Tech, 4th Edition.I was also credited with Research Assistance and Additional Materials for GURPS Low Tech Companion 1, and with Research Assistance for GURPS Low Tech Companion 3.
