Visit paolojc.com for more info-Currently, I am the Senior Manager, International Strategy Operations at Justworks helping to scale up a key business growth lever: expanding our Justworks international offering. Most recently, I was in Strategy & Ops at Valence, supporting the Client Solutions function scale up as we enter a growth year for our AI-powered coaching solution. I was also in Strategy & Ops at Reforge where I was growing our Artifacts library with more AI content and building our Events programming to feature prominent Product and Growth leaders working on the latest AI products and features.Formerly, I was Chief of Staff to the CEO at Ampush, working directly on the senior leadership team to drive strategic initiatives, optimize operational efficiency, and enable organizational growth. Across 2 years, I managed projects and programs across many domains including strategic planning, business operations, budgeting, forecasting, hiring, return-to-office, and M&A.Before that, I was a management consultant at EY-Parthenon focused on growth strategy and private equity diligences. My projects cut across a number of sectors with work on market sizing and analysis, expert interviews, competitive research, and more. Before heading to business school and diving into CoS and consulting, I specialized in tech recruiting and operations at several high-growth startups. At Springboard, we grew from 25 to 50 and went from seed stage to Series A. At Zenefits, we scaled up from 100 to 900 in less than a year. At Box, we scaled from 200 to 1200 and grew from Series C to pre-IPO. My roles spanned the entire spectrum of recruiting from sourcing and coordinating, to candidate management, to partnering with hiring managers, to building interview loops, and all the way to managing teams and events. Outside of work, I have invested time and energy into volunteer opportunities that positively impact the communities I am a part of. Most recently, I dedicated my summer weekday afternoons twice a week to the Black Cultural Zone in East Oakland to provide free meals to families affected by COVID. Most substantially, I spent three years volunteering with the O4U Tech Conference to connect LGBTQ undergrads to professionals in tech. In 2016, I was the O4U Tech Conference Director leading a team of 7 volunteer organizers; we hosted 350+ attendees at Twitter HQ, fundraised $220k from 40 sponsors, and developed an entire weekend of programming.
