ABOUT PAOLA GOMEZ

I’m a philanthropy advisor and public policy professional working at the intersection of equity, strategy, and impact. My work focuses on designing and implementing grantmaking strategies that drive systemic change, particularly in economic mobility, early childhood education, and immigrant communities. Currently, I serve as a Manager at Arabella Advisors, where I support corporate and institutional funders to develop and execute high-impact philanthropic strategies. I bring to this role a cross-sector perspective, shaped by my early experience in Mexico’s federal government and deepened through years of advising U.S-based funders. As someone rooted in Mexico and now based in the United States, I’m increasingly interested in how philanthropy can more meaningfully engage with communities across Latin America, and particularly how it can support efforts to close the gender wealth gap. I serve on the Endowment Committee of Nuestro Futuro, a fund supporting Latino communities in the Midwest, and was selected as a LeadNext Fellow by the Asia Foundation. I’m eager to connect with others working at the intersection of philanthropy, equity, and systems change, particularly in areas such as gender, economic justice, and cross-border collaboration.
