Receiving the Proposal with details scope of work along with BOQ from User departments.• Scrutiny of technical specification in co-ordination with User & Section head-Purchase.• Knowledge about ABC, XYZ analysis & also experiences for JIT cases & well maintain to full fill TAT as scheduled by management.• Vendor Selection/ Vendor approval.• Preparing tender with all required enclosures like commercial terms & condition and Notice Inviting Tender (NIT)/ Request for Quotation (RFQ).• Following up with vendor to get offer/ BID within due date by resolving the techno-commercial issues if any.• Making detailed techno-commercial comparative statement and getting NFA approved.• Negotiates contracts and mobilization details with vendors/ suppliers.• Preparing Purchase Order in SAP system. • Making amendments in the Purchase Order/ Work order as per requirement.• Arranging & follow-up of dispatch & delivery compliance activities. • Timely materials follow up to meet the plant requirement. • Arranging Service entry if required.• Identifying and driving approval for alternate vendors/ processes & developing new sources for cost savings.• Closely Monitoring the timeliness & follow up with the Suppliers for timely delivery of items/ execution of job.• Vender Development and Management.• All the entire supply chain activities.• Dealing with logistic dept for supply on time.• Day to day following ups with finance team.• Prepare MIS.Business Process Management -• Reductions in procurement lead time continuously.• Savings from last year price through extensive negotiation continuously.• Supports data and process requirements of department to ensure the best deal in terms of Price, quality, credit terms & services.• Process development/suggestions for the scope of improvement.
