ABOUT PAMELA WAITE

I am an Insights & Innovation Consultant at Decision Analyst, a leading marketing research and analytics firm. My academic credentials include a masters and a doctorate in Counseling and Consulting Psychology from Harvard and an MBA from Northeastern University;I also have over 25 years of experience in qualitative market research, specializing in healthcare and innovation. I have a strong belief in conversations, not conducting a verbal survey with whomever I\'m speaking, including clients. I eschew buzz words designed to muffle true expression. My interest is in understanding both sides of the research equation: The needs of my clients and the voice of my respondents so that both sides are respected, feel heard, and I\'ve gleaned what is critically important to each. I have an equal commitment to doing my homework; I subscribe to medical and business journals, newsletters, and daily newspapers. These two convictions - to conversation and preparedness - combined with extensive experience are the bedrock of a consultative approach. I design and conduct qualitative research projects for clients in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, who depend on my insights to make strategic and operational decisions. I have spoken with various stakeholders, such as KOLs, physicians, pharmacists, social workers, and patients, and I treat sensitive issues with respect and empathy. I also have interests in education, organizational behavior, and non-profits. My mission is to help clients answer the critical questions they need for their new product, branding, pricing, positioning, competitive intelligence, or strategic direction.
