Culturally Connected Communications (C3) is a minority-owned marketing and communications consultancy firm owned by Pam Jones, a former CJRW vice-president of public relations and account services. Culturally Connected Communications launched in 2014 to help businesses and organizations in Arkansas to connect with broader, more diverse audiences. In addition to providing a calculated review of creative deliverables to ensure materials connect with multiple audiences and communicate in ways that are culturally relevant, C3 provides strategic planning and implementation of grassroots and outreach programs.

ABOUT PAM JONES
After a successful twelve-year career at a CJRW Little Rock advertising and marketing agency, Pam left to launch C3, a minority-owned communications, and public relations firm specializing in diversity and cultural marketing. During her time at CJRW, Pam recognized Arkansas’s need for a diversity marketing agency that focused on delivering results. Pam’s prior involvement with state and local government clients gives her the ability to bring a wealth of knowledge concerning best practices in targeting key audiences not usually reached through general marketing efforts. During her agency career, Pam managed a variety of clients, including Stamp Out Smoking campaign, Texas Department of Insurance, Arkansas Rehabilitation Services, Little Rock National Airport (now known as Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport), the City of Little Rock debris campaign and Metroplan. She also supported the Parks and Tourism and the Arkansas Department of Education accounts.Before launching C3, Pam served as VP of Account Services and Public Relations for CJRW for a Little Rock agency and she was responsible for hiring, training and mentoring the public relations and account services teams and was a member of the CJRW Leadership Team. Pam’s work has been recognized on statewide and national levels, garnering multiple PRISMs and Bronze Quill Awards through the years, in addition to receiving Bronze, Silver, and Gold National Public Health Information Coalition Awards.Pam was formerly director of the Pine Bluff Convention and Visitors Bureau, the first African American to lead such an agency. In that capacity, she oversaw marketing and public relations on behalf of the city. She is the former chairman of the Jefferson County Election Commission and was named in to Arkansas Business’ “Top 40 Under 40 Arkansans” list.
