ABOUT OXANA DUDCHENKO

Events management is my industry of choice due to its fast-paced environment, the challenges that stimulate my mind, and, most importantly, the opportunity for in-person connection. As an event manager, there is nothing more satisfying than witnessing people form genuine connections, learn, and simply have a good time, knowing that I played a part in making it happen!Over the years, I have honed several strengths as an event manager- Time management comes naturally to me. Thanks to my experience and quick learning ability, I consistently deliver on deadlines, often ahead of schedule. Ask me about delivering an international conference with just a 6-month lead time- I am passionate about finding new efficiencies! I pay close attention to details and identify where processes are slowed down or cumbersome, then provide solutions to streamline them. In my current role, I have created standard operating procedures, templates, and guides that simplify work for both my colleagues and myself- Sustainability is deeply integrated into both my personal and professional life, and I always seek ways to implement it wherever possible. I\'ve been fortunate to work with people who share my enthusiasm for sustainable events or who support my efforts. As a result, I have developed formulas and strategies that I now follow to make every event as sustainable as possible given the circumstances. I have a particular interest in the Food and Beverage aspect of events, including menu creation, food labeling, and waste reduction- As a person of Russian, Ukrainian, and Bulgarian origin, born in Kazakhstan, educated in the UK, and now relocated to the US, I have built a rich intercultural knowledge base. This helps me understand different cultural perspectives and build strong relationships, which is especially important in my current role, where I manage two internationally based conferences each year.I am always interested in broadening my network of like-minded individuals, so feel free to connect for an informal chat.
