As the Resident Counselor for 20 incoming minority business students, I provide essential support and guidance to help them transition smoothly into college life. My role involves: •Offering academic advice• Facilitating peer mentorship programs• Organizing workshops on time management, study skills, career planning, networking and building peer relationships. • Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where students can express their concerns, seek advice, and build a strong sense of community. • Providing regular one-on-one meetings and group activities to help students navigate their academic and personal challenges, ensuring they feel confident and prepared to succeed in their business studies.
