Vancouver, BC, CA
PressReader is the global leader in multi-channel, cross-platform content distribution and monetization and the chosen partner of more than 3,500 publishers from 100 countries. For 6 years I was retained as a senior marketing consultant for PressReader. Reporting to the CEO, I was responsible for all SEM, SEO, content marketing, PR, social media, advertising and event management for the company\'s B2C and B2B products.I worked closely with the VP of Publisher Relations to create marketing programs to attract new publishers to the PressReader Publishing network, which has grown from 350 in 2006 to over 3.500 today. In the B2C space, I helped grow the user base for the company’s award-winning mobile news application, PressReader, into millions. For the B2B division, I was responsible for marketing PressReader solutions to vertical market clients (e.g. hospitality, aviation, marine, library, corporate and government) supporting both direct sales and indirect agents worldwide.I was the primary author for all corporate communications, marketing collateral and PR, including: website content, newsletters, blog, email campaigns, brochures, presentations, media releases, radio and video scripts, case studies, advertisements, contributed articles, business plans and investor relation communications. I continue to consult to PressReader as a Content Strategist and am the Editor of The Insider magazine, a trade publication that digs deep into the issues that keep publishing and business executives awake at night.
