Played a key role in a major company transformation, leading initiatives to decouple monolithic systems and migrate infrastructure from Wayfair\'s on-premise data centers to Google Cloud. This significantly improved system availability, scalability, maintainability, visibility, and monitoring.• Co-led technology initiatives for core inventory services, achieving $8-10M in yearly savings by reducing data corruption by 99.28% and cutting variance by 35%.• Contributed to multiple domains within the warehousing scope, including Receiving, Putaway, Cycle Counting and Inventory Movement functions in both backend, web, and Android applications.• Lead the Cycle Count’s initiative, improving warehousing efficiency, supervisor’s visibility and decoupling the service from tier 1 services (inventory and locations), reducing system errors from about 5% to near zero, completely eliminated data corruption, and decoupled data by using local models updated by PubSub events.• Improved multiple system stability and latency by tackling performance issues in shared databases by finding root blockers, suggesting query improvements and creation or removal of multiple indexes, source of issues, in tables containing hundreds of million records.
