As a Data Privacy professional at Sage, I play a key role in safeguarding personal and sensitive data across global operations. I specialize in ensuring compliance with international data protection regulations such as GDPR, UK DPA 2018, and other emerging privacy frameworks globally. My responsibilities include conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Cookie assessments, data privacy incident response, managing Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), and advising on privacy-by-design principles across product and service development.I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Legal, IT, Security, HR and Procurement—to embed privacy into business processes and vendor relationships. I also support the development and implementation of internal privacy policies, training programs, and governance frameworks to foster a culture of accountability and transparency.With a proactive and risk-based approach, I help Sage maintain trust with customers, partners, and regulators by ensuring that data is handled ethically, securely, and in line with evolving legal standards.
