ABOUT OLIVIA OMEGA

I’m a strategic communications and brand leader with 20+ years of experience helping organizations clarify who they are, how they show up, and how they build trust with the people they serve. In my current role as Senior Director of Marketing & Communications at the Denver Scholarship Foundation, I lead enterprise-wide communications strategy for a mission-driven organization supporting thousands of students and families. I partner closely with executive leadership to shape messaging, align stakeholders, and elevate the organization’s visibility and impact—most recently leading a major brand evolution. My background spans nonprofit, corporate, education, and entrepreneurial spaces—from national communications strategy to advising founders, startups, and global brands. Across each, I’m known for translating complexity into clarity and bringing people together around a shared narrative. What shapes my approach most is perspective. I’ve experienced institutions not just as a strategist, but as a student, alumna, donor, board member, and community partner. That lens informs how I think about communications—not just as messaging, but as a tool for connection, belonging, and trust. Outside of my day-to-day work, I’m a speaker, mentor, and author of Beautifully Branded, focused on identity, leadership, and personal brand. I’m also actively engaged with the University of Colorado Boulder through board service and student-facing programming.
