ABOUT OLIVIA STEEDMAN

I am the Executive Managing Director and Global Head of Teachers\' Venture Growth (TVG), the venture capital and growth equity arm of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP). TVG seeks exposure to category leading, private technology companies in order to deliver premium risk adjusted returns for OTPP. We invest both directly (80% of mandate) and through funds. Our direct investing strategy is aimed at companies that have proven product market fit, high top-line growth and a clear path to cash flow break even, typically Series B and beyond. We aim to partner with founders and management teams to provide global expertise, resources and guidance in support of their bold visions. Since standing up TVG in 2019, I have overseen the growth of the team and portfolio which, as at Dec 31 2025, consisted of almost 40 direct investments, multiple top quartile venture growth funds and C$15.3b in assets headquartered across the globe. I chair the TVG Investment and Portfolio Review Committees in addition to serving on the Investment Committee of the OTPP CIO, Public & Private Investments.I joined Ontario Teachers\' in 2002 as a founding member of the Infrastructure and Natural Resources (INR) group where I served in various senior roles including Head of the Greenfield and Renewables investment team. I also led INR\'s Value Creation and Analytics business which leverages deep strategy and operations experience to deliver material value creation and protection initiatives for INR\'s portfolio companies. Throughout my career at OTPP I have served on multiple portfolio company boards spanning the technology, energy, transportation, utility and natural resource sectors. I have also taken on key leadership roles for OTPP related to strategy and climate change.Before joining Teachers\', I was an Assistant Vice-President in the Project Finance and Privatization group at PricewaterhouseCoopers and practiced civil engineering at Marshall Macklin Monaghan.As a Professional Engineer and Chartered Professional Accountant, I hold a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Queen\'s University and an ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors. In 2018, I was honored to be recognized by the Women\'s Executive Network as one of Canada\'s Top 100 Most Powerful Women.
