As a member on the Social Media team for Mustang News, I have gained experience promoting articles that are published in the campus newspaper through Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, X, and Threads. Our team creates graphics on Adobe Illustrator and builds copy for captions that is informational yet engaging. I have really enjoyed producing content that targets all of our different audiences (from students to parents to faculty) and learning the most effective techniques in acquiring the most engagement from our viewers. By controlling the content during the presidential election and recently hitting 20k followers on Instagram, I have been given a very transformative and interactive opportunity to learn the various facets in social media management.
