I\'m Olivia, a marketer, blogger, content creator, SEO lover, social media nerd, lover of all things local, winged liner fan, and parmo advocate.I started my journey into all things content and marketing with my English degree. After learning how my love of words could be applied to digital spaces and used to \"manipulate Google\", I set up a little blog, The Northernist, where I wrote about whatever I fancied. It was alright, probably not the ground breaking, but it was my space to jabber about the things I liked. But the more I learned about SEO and the magic of niching down, it turned into a place where I could shout about the Teesside area and everything I was proud of as a smoggie. And since then, it\'s grown exponentially with a readership of over and I\'ve had the privilege to work with some amazing local heroes, like Enjoy Tees Valley, Darlington Borough Council, and Love Middlesbrough.My love for blogging fuelled me into finding other ways to create content for digital spaces, and I discovered the world of social media. Sure, I knew it existed as a way to see the latest cat memes, but exploring it for content creation purposes was a whole other ball game. And now you can catch me reading trend reports, learning about the latest features and updates, and trying to nail the best strategies.I\'m also hugely into video creation and work alongside my partner on Pyro Media, a North East video production company. We create a range of video content, like wedding videos, sports highlights, business promos, and social media clips. We\'ve worked with an assortment of companies, such as Penguin Random House, MakTok, and Whitley Warriors, to elevate their video offerings!
