ABOUT OLAYIWOLA OLANIYI
An entrepreneur with professional background in IT, Telecoms and International Trade. Employed by PinkRoccade (later Getronics), a UK IT outsourcing company in 2001 and assigned to high profile clients such as Chevron Texaco (now Chevron), Barings Asset Management, Threadneedle Asset Management, Deutsche Bank and Centrica PLC (UKs largest energy and services company). I gained several years’ experience in not just my chosen field but in corporate governance, business process and business development across Europe.Started DV Solutions UK in 2006 to serve IT project and added Project Management in 2009, I have lead the company to assist several organisations providing both services. Sometimes sub-contracted, we served in both the private and public sector across Europe.In 2010, my first introduction into the Telecoms industry was through VAS2Nets Technologies acting as European representative and UK Director. Assisted with Business Development to expand the footprint of VAS2Nets globally all the way across Africa through Cameroon, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and South Africa. Currently sitting on the board of two companies in the UK and Nigeria, the thirst and interest in Africa continues to drive my vision in providing Business Development for organizations interested in the African emerging markets where I have built excellent relationships thereby giving our clients the advantage of our networks.
