ABOUT ODETTE FROST
I’m a programmes, policy and evaluation leader with a deep commitment to building systems that reflect and serve Pacific communities. My background spans government, NGOs, and private sector covering economic development, education, health, employment, and development assistance across Aotearoa and the Pacific.I bring a combination of skills in strategic policy, research, and evaluation grounded in Pacific knowledge systems and driven by evidence and impact. It’s not often that these areas intersect, but my experience moves across them: from shaping policy advice to commissioning culturally responsive evaluations and developing Pacific-led frameworks.With a strong understanding of both government and community contexts, I’m able to connect insights from research directly to policy and practice. I also serve as Chair of Tunuma Creative, a grassroots NGO that supports Pacific women’s wellbeing through cultural reconnection and creative expression.What drives me is simple: seeing communities reflected in the decisions that affect them and growing the next generation of leaders to take that work further.
