I founded The Harrys Rainbow Charitable Trust following the sudden and unexpected death of my 5 year old son Harry. I made it my goal to provide a service that focuses on the bereaved child, improving conditions of life, self-esteem and confidence. Facilitating contact with other children and families who are going through similar experiences is the main priority whilst also encouraging families to make new and positive memories. We arrange trips, groups and activities as well as organise short breaks at our Rainbow Retreat. I work with children and families affected by the death of a parent or sibling. As well as first hand personal experience I have undergone training in Psychology, Health and Social care and various other bereavement support courses. My previous employment experience has also given me the skills to not only support the families but manage the charity as the CEO, supporting employees and volunteers as well as working with the Board of Trustees.
