ABOUT NOUR ALSAFADI

I’m a full-stack software engineer with a passion for problem-solving and impact-driven engineering. At Restaurant Brands International, I’ve led development on critical menu services, led initiatives to improve user data quality, and maintained menu availability for millions of app users. Previously at IBM, I developed test automation platforms uncovering defects that improved product reliability, and safely enhanced NoSQL data operations. Beyond engineering, I’m passionate about mentorship, community-building, and leveraging technology for social impact. My capstone project (finderFly) a radar-based search-and-rescue device, earned 2nd place at McMaster’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Expo. I also organized tech workshops for students as the Vice-Chair of Computer Chapter at I’m excited about opportunities at the intersection of software engineering, and humanitarianism. Photography and graphic design are a few of my hobbies, and I aim to approach any problem with an interdisciplinary perspective. Always learning and looking for a challenge!
