I was hired to build, scale and lead the global manufacturing and supply chain operations (including production, engineering, maintenance, logistics and customer service) to improve forecasting and manage inventory for hundreds of products. Within a few months, I stabilized operations, reinforced LEAN processes, implemented global S & OP processes and drove sustainability, quality, throughput, yield and gross margin improvements. During my time with MacDermid Alpha, my teams have implemented >40 CAPEX projects, upgraded global facilities, integrated operations with global plants, and improved the global shipping and logistics operations for China, Europe, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and the US. We also drastically improved our safety performance, embedding safety throughout the culture.
