ABOUT NITYA YADAV
I\'m a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Waterloo with hands-on experience in process optimization, system modeling, and equipment design across the energy, manufacturing, and nuclear sectors. Through internships at Cenovus Energy, Cameco, and Bombardier, I’ve worked on projects involving flow metering, high-pressure system analysis, HVAC redesign, and root cause investigations to improve operational efficiency and reduce emissions.In parallel with my academic work, I’ve modeled thermoelectric generators and reactor systems using Python and MATLAB, and contributed to control system development in UW AFT design team using Simulink. I enjoy bridging theoretical concepts with real-world implementation, whether that’s through plant optimization, lab testing, or collaborative design projects.With a strong foundation in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and control systems, I\'m always looking for opportunities to apply my skills in high-impact engineering environments, especially in industries focused on sustainability, innovation, and complex systems integration.
