ABOUT NITIN PADMANABHAN
Nitin Padmanabhan has a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Waterloo, ON, Canada. He has experience in electricity market design, power system economics & operations, mathematical modelling, and optimization. He is also the recipient of the 2018 Energy Council of Canada Energy Research Fellowship, 2018 University of Waterloo Faculty of Engineering Award (FOE), 2017 Best Teaching Assistant Award in Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo and 2005 National Service Scheme, Kerala, India Best Student Volunteer. Beyond his academic contributions, Nitin is an active member of several professional societies. He has served as volunteer in various positions in Kerala Section, India, and Kitchener-Waterloo (KW) Section, Canada. He is the present Chair of KW Section.
