Responsibilities:• Design of 3D models & assembly of molds & cores in Pro_E software for various types of pump & turbine components.• Casting design and development using 3D sand printing.• Prepare CAD & STL data for additive manufacturing.• Good knowledge of working and operations of sand printing machine.• Expert in creating Program in rapix software & STL file format conversion.• Gating system & riser design for steel, cast iron & nonferrous materials.• Casting Flow Simulation in magma software for avoiding casting defect.• Action Plan Implementation On-time delivery of 3D casting models, molds & cores. 3D printing technology benchmarking, trial co-ordination with foundry and other cross functional team for project implementation.• Monitor the progress of all on-line projects, resources needful within the time-frame.• Develop and Implement efficiency improvement project.• Knowledge of blue ray 3D scanning (Reverse engineering).• Developing sub-ordinates, failure analysis, correction, deviation check, data collection for problem solving, continuous improvement.• Create preventative maintenance best practice & avoid machine failure. Daily checklist of maintenance. For major breakdown of 3DP machine maintain communication & relationship with 3D printing manufacturer service technicians. Conduct daily test to determine printability & quality of each job.• Trouble report solution, new software training, safety awareness, kaizen improvement, new idea generation.• Study of Metal & Plastic printing process for future scope & trial for 3D Printed pattern through replicast process.• Handle shop floor planning. Assign work to workmen as per their skill level. Handle new development, modification & repair work of molds & cores. • Able to work with minimal supervision, self-starter, and detail-oriented.
