Lead front-end development for XipLink’s web application, replacing legacyOpenLaszlo code with a modern, responsive UI.​ Re-architected the frontend using Flask / Jinja as a templating layer betweenbackend Python web services and a JavaScript / HTML client.​ Developed migration workflows using Python, SQLAlchemy, and Alembic to enablesmooth product upgrades and downgrades.​ Designed and integrated Grafana dashboards backed by SQLite to monitor systemperformance, providing real-time visibility into XipOS device activity and networkbehavior.​ Led the migration of existing applications from Python 2 to Python 3, refactoringcode, updating dependencies, and resolving compatibility issues to modernize thecodebase.​ Responsible for maintaining and updating all JavaScript / jQuery dependencies,reducing technical debt and enhancing stability, security, and maintainability acrossthe frontend codebase.​ Partnered with the product management team to design UI prototypes usingBalsamiq, translate new feature requirements into intuitive interfaces, andcontribute to user-facing documentation.​ Significantly improved usability, performance, maintainability, and user experience,enabling faster development and better user interaction with key features.​ Contributed to an Agile/ Scrum team, using Jira for sprint tracking, Git for versioncontrol, and Phorge for peer code reviews and collaboration.
