Joined RBK Capital (a boutique investment bank) as a full-time Investment Banking Analyst, contributing to high-impact mandates in Start-up fundraising, M&A and strategic advisory. My role involves end-to-end support across deal sourcing, evaluation, execution, market research and client engagement, while staying aligned with the firm’s investment strategy.Key Responsibilities1. Market & Industry Research - Conduct in-depth sector analyses, competitive benchmarking and market sizing to identify trends and potential opportunities.2. Deal Sourcing & Evaluation - Build and manage a robust deal pipeline through active engagement with founders, accelerators and ecosystem partners. Assess startups for scalability, innovation and strategic fit.3. Financial Analysis & Modeling - Develop valuation models (DCF, comparables, sensitivity analysis) and analyze company financials to evaluate investment potential.4. Transaction Execution - Assist in the preparation of IMs, pitch books and due diligence coordination for capital raising transactions.5. Strategic Engagement - Support investor engagement, portfolio showcases and fundraising initiatives, ensuring effective positioning with stakeholders.6. Client & Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborated with senior bankers on client deliverables and maintained relationships with corporates, VCs, PEs, HNIs and family offices. Within the first month, I successfully onboarded 6 new clients/investors, strengthening the company’s investor network and engagement.7. Internal Collaboration - Contribute to knowledge resources such as sector primers and investment playbooks, while staying updated on regulatory frameworks and financing structures.8. Social Media & Brand Building – Took on the role of LinkedIn Social Media Manager and drove brand visibility by increasing followers from 95 to 256 within 18 days, significantly boosting engagement and outreach.
