ABOUT NISARG PATEL

As an Industrial Engineer, I draw on my supply chain management, warehouse inventory planning, and vendor management skills to drive continuous improvement, ensure timely customer order fulfillment, and boost revenue growth. My approach for this is simple: I maintain inventory health, unlock and leverage the power of supply chain data, and utilize cutting-edge techniques and best practices. Throughout my career, I have used these methods to drive business success while propelling significant improvements in all supply chain metrics. At Shri Shiddhi Agri Chem, for instance, I generated executive buy-in for the development and implementation of key supply chain metrics focused on both supplier and customer ends. Subsequently, I drove drastic improvements in these KPIs; I increased both the order fulfillment and production output metrics by 14% each and lowered the number of backorders by 19%. These KPIs ensured that production and sales teams could measure, set, and achieve targets and this improved organizational performance, as a result. The other key ingredient for my success is focusing on customer satisfaction. As a Logistics Supply Chain Analyst, I identified a key customer pain point arising from confusion over how to use the company’s key product. I initiated a free-of-charge customer education initiative, which not only improved product utilization but also drove an increase in revenue by $18K annually and expanded the customer base by 7%. Along with leading continuous process improvement, I enhance inventory control and stock levels significantly. At one of my roles, I implemented just-in-time inventory management, optimized warehouse space, and boosted sales for slow-moving inventory. As a result, I increased product availability by 58% while also increasing customer satisfaction. I believe in continuous improvement and growth. To this end, I am currently pursuing a Production & Inventory Management certification from APICS; I previously achieved the Supply Chain Professional Certification too. Combined with my industry experience, my pursuit of learning ensures I stay current with industry best practices.
