ABOUT NINA ARMSTRONG

In my role as Director of Market Development with GBI, I provide market development support by establishing and maintaining relationships with national corporate portfolio managers and community members. I represent GBI at various national conferences by attending, presenting at, and hosting booths as well as identifying speaking and sponsorship opportunities to increase brand awareness and bolster thought leadership programming. Prior to this role, I led project teams through Green Globes sustainability assessments for commercial buildings as a project manager, and conducted trainings on the Client Services team.Previously, I worked in member engagement, development, and fundraising for a variety of environmental nonprofit organizations managing fundraising and campaign offices. Under my management, my team raised millions of dollars for campaigns to defend the Clean Water Act, to ban dangerous pesticides, and in support of 100% renewable energy. I\'ve also run several successful patch-through calling campaigns, including a campaign to pass the Great American Outdoors Act. I bring with me to my work a passion for the health of our environment and for sustainable buildings and healthy spaces.
