Manage & oversee BCTI Projects (Project Portfolio:~10+ projects/year; combination of internal as well as ARD: Applied Research and Development projects, focused in the areas of Robotics, Automation, Advanced Manufacturing, Cybersecurity and IoT. Projects in Collaboration with Kuka Robotics, Locomobi, StackTeck Systems Ltd, Namu Robotics & BData)• Develop project guidelines & templates to support the development of BCTI’s PMO. As well as identify gaps in existing project document templates & identify needs for improvement (developed over 12 controlled templates and 4 guidelines for internal team to follow across all projects)• Develop KPIs to assess project coordinator performance & conduct “Continuous Improvement\" review meetings with project coordinators to provide feedback for development & growth in their roles to develop a strong project team• Support and coach project coordinators to be able to confidently lead & manage BCTI projects independently• Meet with potential industry partners & faculty to triage potential opportunities for collaboration via projects, workshops etc.• Lead & facilitate weekly/bi-weekly project progress meetings & brainstorming meetings with stakeholders across all projects• Work with BCTI Director & Business Operations Manager to support strategic plan of the BCTI• Oversee $220K funding to be allocated towards funding of student salaries for projects• Connect with Humber’s COI (Centre of Innovation) network to encourage collaboration on experiential learning projects (Humber’s CIHW: Centre of Innovation for Health & Wellness, Longo CFE: Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship, CCBI & CSI: Centre for Social Innovation)• Provide awareness to Humber faculty on the following: BCTI project opportunities, support, resources and funding by hosting BCTI info sessions• Attend and support BCTI Director & Business Operations Manager at High-Profile Events & Conferences related to Advanced Manufacturing, Automation, Robotics & Innovation
