ABOUT NIKITA SHMYGLYA

I am a marketing and design specialist with over 10 years of combined experience in both web and traditional advertising, marketing, promotions, and campaigns. I have worked on integrated campaigns for clients such as Carlsberg, RamSoft, Humber College, AmeriSpec, Sunwave, Merry Maids, and Thomson Rogers. As a Marketing Manager with Dream Productions, I was responsible for client and public relations, administration, social media, advertising, design and marketing tasks. Previous to that I was a Marketing Coordinator with Decor-Rest in charge of product catalogues, photography, and social media. At Lime Advertising Inc, my role as an Art Director was focused on providing clients with effective marketing and design solutions. In this role I tailored each design piece in accordance with client\'s specifications and requests. Previous experience includes marketing/branding at RamSoft Inc. and database management/IT at Carlson Marketing (Now Aimia). Colleagues know me as a highly creative marketer who can always be trusted to come up with a new approach. But I know that the client’s business comes first, and I never try to impose my ideas on others. Instead, I spend a lot of time understanding the business and the audience before suggesting ideas. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others. In a nutshell, I am an effective communicator with great organizational and management skills. I hold 2 diplomas in marketing and design, as well as a Business (Marketing) Management degree.
