I have over 25 years’ design and commercial experience both domestic and internationally in civil engineering, highway and building projects covering all aspects from design, supervision and contract administration including commercial management. I have specialised in contract management where my particular skills include contract administration, budget and financial management, continuous improvement of contract management functions, maintaining a commitment to increased efficiency, innovation and the fostering of partnering and collaborative relationships.I have worked on a variety of domestic projects for key account clients including the National Highways, Roads Service Northern Ireland, Transport for London, Crossrail, Network Rail, Costain/Skanska Joint Venture, Balfour Beatty, Local Authorities and working for private developers. I have also spent a secondment period with imc Worldwide (formally WSPimc) working on technical assistance projects for developing countries in Africa which were funded by DFID (ukaid), EU and The World Bank.
