Reduced Aspect Signaling(RAS) becomes in-service for the first time on LIRR property.Hudson Yards Overbuild – Westside Storage Yard-Provided leadership for Signal Design, Signal Construction and the FRA group converting the existing relay based non-vital yard into state of the art vital processor based interlocking-Fast track project successfully completed in 6 months-Coordinated efforts between Related, Ansaldo, Railware, Amtrak and LIRR-Checked and modified software/hardware plans for wayside installation-Simulate and test all vital software using Vital-sim-Supported Signal Construction forces building, powering up, FRA testing and troubleshooting all aspects of the project-Supported cut-overs addressing any office or wayside issues.
