ABOUT NIHIL SUNIL

I am a Strategy & Operations-oriented leader with experience spanning large-scale operations, process improvement, analytics, and early-stage business building.Currently, I lead high-volume, time-critical operations at Amazon, where my remit extends beyond frontline execution into site quality ownership, operational planning, performance improvement, and cross-functional decision support. Appointed Site Quality Lead in January 2026, I own First Pass Yield (FPY), a core quality metric, and have led initiatives focused on improving process reliability, reducing defects, and strengthening operational predictability at scale. My work sits at the intersection of operations, analytics, and strategy. I have led initiatives involving trend analysis, forecasting, labour and throughput planning, root-cause diagnosis, and process redesign, often working cross-functionally with Labour Planning, Central Operations, Process Excellence, People Experience and Site Leadership teams to influence planning decisions and implement sustainable improvements. I have also taken on Acting Area Manager (L5) scope during Prime Week, Peak, and from January 2026 onwards, including leadership across multiple sites during periods of elevated demand and operational risk.Prior to Amazon, I built experience across strategy, founder’s office, consulting, and technology environments. This includes contributing to UK market entry work in a strategy role, supporting investor-facing and growth initiatives in an early-stage fintech, and delivering structured problem-solving in a client-facing role at Accenture. What motivates me most is solving complex business problems at the point where strategy meets execution: diagnosing what is not working, aligning stakeholders, and translating analysis into measurable improvement. My experience has increasingly centred on operational strategy, business performance, and implementation in complex environments.
