As a Mechanic at Lime, I am responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining Lime’s fleet of electric scooters and e-bikes to ensure safe and efficient operation for users across the city. My daily tasks involve diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, performing routine servicing, and ensuring each unit meets strict safety and performance standards before deployment.I work with a variety of tools and equipment, including digital multimeters, torque wrenches, Allen/hex key sets, impact drivers, soldering tools, and battery management systems (BMS) to troubleshoot and repair components such as brakes, motors, controllers, lights, throttles, and wiring. I also use Lime\'s Fleet Management App and internal ticketing systems to log repairs, track performance issues, and update status reports.Collaboration with the operations and logistics team is crucial to coordinate part replacements, prioritise repair tasks, and optimise fleet availability. I ensure detailed and accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.
