ABOUT NICOLETTA ROSATI

I am a Senior Researcher in Economics, Econometrics and Applied Statistics at CEMAPRE (Centre for Applied Mathematics and Economics) research center. Using statistic and econometrics models applied to diverse research areas, including economics, health economics, medical statistics, pharmaceuticals and telecommunications. I have been a Senior Advisor at LEAR, where I managed research projects in the area of economics and competition policy. I was responsible for the organisation, external communication, and methodological framework of the projects, as well as for the supervision of junior staff. I contributed for several years to institutional support to the European Commission as Senior Economic Analyst at the EC Joint Research Centre, giving support in topics related to global firms, including: cross-border investments and financial integration; FDI screening; public ownership; global value chains and industrial ecosystems; common ownership and market competition; SMEs finance. Before that, I was a Lecturer in Econometrics and Statistics at the Institute for Economics and Management of the University of Lisbon, and Member of the Managing Board of research center CEMAPRE. I have been involved in several external projects, including statistics and econometrics training, in co-operation with industry (Amgen, Cambridge, UK), consultancies (Prometeia Calcolo, Cognos International, Akademie International, Timberlake Consultants), and institutions (ANACOM, Bank of Italy, Italian National Bureau of Statistics, Department of Medicine - UCL, Department of Medicine - Univ. of Padova, Department of Statistics - Univ. of Padova, Scuola Nazionale dell’Amministrazione - Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri).
