ABOUT NICOLE SCHWARTZ NETT
As chief engineer for IBM POWER Systems, I lead a multi-disciplinary team that is responsible for the design, bring-up, test, and successful release of the system. I educate and support business partners and customers, promoting POWER systems through these interactions. I am frequently called on to make the difficult decisions that no one else on the team wants to make.I am passionate about empowering girls to be confident leaders, especially in the area of STEM, and volunteer with the Girl Scouts of Central Texas to create girls of courage, confidence, and character. My free time is typically spent either outside enjoying the great Austin weather or traveling. Some of my favorite destinations have included Yellowstone National Park; Taipei, Taiwan; the south island of New Zealand; Machu Piccu, Peru; and Cordoba, Argentina.
