ABOUT NICOLE NEWMAN
I am deeply passionate about the power of technology to reach and improve the lives of people all over the world. I am currently working as Director of Technology Strategy at inMusic Brands, focusing on guiding the company\'s technological direction, both in terms of systems that the business is using internally, and in terms of the technology used in our hardware and software. Before that, I was working as a Staff Technical Program Manager of the AI/ML team at SimpliSafe, helping the newly formed team to establish work practices, presenting roadmaps and capacity needs to executives, and assisting with the onboarding of tools and systems to scale the capabilities of the team. My previous experiences in Project Management, Director of Product Quality and Business Management at inMusic provided me with a unique insight into the interplay between finances, schedule, quality, cross-organizational and cross-functional collaboration.I graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Electrical Engineering, and from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Production and Engineering. I love being a part of the development cycle for products that are both technologically and creatively forward thinking.
