Promoting SmartSatCRC\'s missions nationally and internationally in order to build Australia\'s space industry.The SmartSat Cooperative Research Centre is an Australian consortium of universities and other research organisations, partnered with industry that has been funded by the Australian Government to develop know-how and technologies in advanced telecommunications and IoT connectivity, intelligent satellite systems and Earth observation analytics. We have raised AU$250million over seven years to conduct research and provide doctoral scholarships. Working closely with the Australian Space Agency, SmartSat will make a strong contribution to the Australian Government’s goal of tripling the size of the space sector to $12 billion and creating up to jobs by 2030.
