When I joined RINA, I was appointed as a Surveyor in the Trieste Office for two years. This short but intense experience gave me the opportunity to learn many things on the field (I also spent some time in surveying during the construction of cruise ships) and taste how tough is the life of a Marine Surveyor! On year 2004, as RINA established a dedicated Business line for Naval Ships, thanks to my educational background, I was moved to the Head Office and I have been involved in this new business. I started as project manager for classification activities and, little by little, I acquired new skills and technical know-how. Nowadays, I am the responsible of the Navy Sector and I represent RINA in the international associations INSA (International Naval Safety Association) and NSCA (Naval Ships Classification Association).
