ABOUT NICKI PARR
A passionate leader with experience in strategic implementation, finance, operations and people development. Nicki originally qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in the UK, gained FTSE-100 experience with Allied Domecq plc, then moved to the US in 2004 to continue working for a variety of private companies. In 2010, Nicki obtained a Master’s degree in Somatic Psychology, before transitioning into working full-time in the non-profit world in 2018. Her work at WEV, supporting the mission of economic equity through entrepreneurship and financial literacy, neatly combined Nicki\'s business experience and psychology background. A naturally empathic leader, Nicki believes that nurturing potential is at the heart of meaningful progress both for the individual and the organization. She has presented on and written about business resilience, disaster recovery, and the importance of financial preparedness for small businesses.
