ABOUT NICK MASTERS

Nick has worked as a consultant ecologist since 2005, initially providing field survey support to large and small development projects, and subsequently progressing to project and staff management, business development, and maintaining and developing company standards.Nick has extensive survey experience in ecology surveys, as well as EcIA, Habitats Regulations Assessments, DECC applications etc, and regularly designs bespoke survey and mitigation strategies based on a thorough understanding of legislative and planning requirements. A confident and clear communicator, Nick invests considerable effort in ensuring that clients are fully informed of ecological constraints and opportunities, and are given a complete and unbiased understanding of ecological considerations in respect of budget, timing and project risks. As a Team Leader, Nick invests considerable effort into the development of the ecology team through raising the team\'s profile, identifying training opportunities and making strategic considerations in the context of the current status of the industry.
