ABOUT NICHOLAS GATES
I am currently a junior at the University at Albany studying Public Policy and International Studies. My passion for law and Public Policy began during my senior year of high school through the New Visions Law & Government Program, where I gained hands-on experience by shadowing attorneys and developing key professional skills. This early exposure inspired me to pursue my degree at the University At Albany. My academic focus centers on the intersection of law and social policy and how these areas shape and impact our communities. I continue to expand my legal knowledge through my internship at the NYS Supreme Court and NYS Senate. I am continuously learning and working to further my education and am working towards going to law school.
