ABOUT NICHOLAS BOSSHART
My education and background have a strong base in geology, having earned both B.S. and M.S. degrees in geology (University of Northern Iowa, University of North Dakota, respectively). I currently oversee and manage a multidisciplinary team with specialties ranging from geology, geological engineering, reservoir engineering, petrophysics, geophysics, advanced data analytics, and machine learning. My work consists of applied subsurface research, including topics such as geologic model construction, numerical simulation of oilfield operations, unconventional reservoirs, geologic storage of CO2 (both dedicated storage in saline formations and storage associated with enhanced oil recovery [EOR] operations), produced water disposal, produced gas storage, investigations of residual oil zones (ROZs), and others.
