ABOUT NATALIE PRESTON

I\'m a results-driven professional with a strong background in digital media, communications, and marketing. With over 10 years of experience in various roles, I have developed a deep understanding of the industry and possess excellent knowledge of our products and the marketplace. Currently, I am serving as the Digital Media & Communications Manager at Okanagan Hockey Group Inc, where I have been instrumental in planning and executing social media content across multiple platforms. In this role, I have built strong customer and industry partner relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and effective communication of our products and services. Additionally, I have played a key role in developing systems and processes to enhance our offerings, contributing to the growth and success of the company. Prior to my current position, I held the position of Social Media Coordinator at Okanagan Hockey Group Inc, where I successfully managed all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, for all Okanagan Hockey locations in Canada. During this time, I honed my skills in content planning and execution, while providing mentorship to my peers and handling customer inquiries, complaints, and queries. Beyond my professional experience, I have also founded my own business, the Chic Clothing Company. This entrepreneurial endeavor allowed me to cultivate skills in leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making. I successfully operated the company for nearly six years, further showcasing my ability to thrive in a dynamic and competitive market. Earlier in my career, I held positions such as Sales Representative at Hcareers, Contract Manager at Destinations West Marketing, and Inside Sales Representative at TIC Travel Insurance. These roles provided me with a diverse range of experiences and strengthened my interpersonal and communication skills. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective decision-making abilities, and the capacity to lead and motivate others. I am empathetic to staff and customer needs, and my enthusiasm, patience, and stress management skills enable me to perform well under pressure. Moreover, my flexibility and charisma have allowed me to adapt to changing environments and build meaningful connections with colleagues and stakeholders. I am passionate about leveraging my expertise to contribute to the growth and success of the Okanagan Hockey Group.
