A native of Argentina, Natalia A. Flores, APR, is an award-winning communications professional who excels at helping brands connect authentically with multicultural audiences. Flores, a first-generation Latina, has developed communications strategies for brands, emphasizing multicultural markets for 25 years. She is a seasoned, accredited executive with a depth of experience across the communications field, including internal and external communications, community relations, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE & I) strategies. For more than 15 years, Flores has headed up Inspire PR, a minority and woman-owned public relations consultancy. She has partnered with agencies to provide communications services to local, national, and international brands. She develops strategic communications plans and initiatives using cultural insights to help brands connect and engage with consumers. In addition, Flores has agency experience, having worked at global agencies Burson and Porter Novelli in Miami. Flores has worked with a wide range of brands across multiple industries, including YMCA of Greater Charlotte, Bojangles\', Sherwin-Williams, Girls on the Run International, Blue Cross NC, Carolina Raptor Center, Samsung, MasterCard, SAP, Office Depot, VMware, Latin GRAMMYs, McColl Center for Visual Art, Macy’s & The Arts Empowerment Project.She has worked on award-winning campaigns, including a campaign with Blue Cross NC titled Let Nothing Stop You™ – Diabetes Under Control to help Hispanic/Latinx and African-American/Black diabetics in North Carolina control their diabetes, and a campaign with Bojangles called TeleBOvela: El Sabor de la Pasión, which have all garnered accolades from key industry organizations. Most recently, she spearheaded a teen mental health destigmatization campaign, Mental Health Has No Face, for the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, which was recognized by the Advertising Federation in Charlotte. The Charlotte Business Journal recognized her as a 40 Under 40 honoree, and PRWEEK named her a 2018 Champion of PR. Flores has been published in multiple industry outlets, including PRSA’s Tactics and The Strategist, and has delivered lectures and workshops nationwide on multicultural marketing.She graduated from Florida International University’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication and is accredited in public relations. She is a member of PRSA Charlotte and a past president of PRSA Miami. She has volunteered with the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte, Girls on the Run, and Tri It For Life.
