Collaborate with the Management and other internal and external stakeholders to develop initiatives, inform decision making, spending strategies, and appropriate use of resources- Responsible for maintaining all grant related financial data and for providing grant support services to meet the needs of the department, the development team, the organization, and the donor- Analyzes grant contracts according GAAP and donor conditions to ensure appropriate booking- Leads team to fulfill all grants accounting responsibilities, including, but not limited to financial reporting, developing budgets and financial plans, budget narratives, contract and agreement analysis, and net asset schedules- Collaborates with the Financial Planning Group, Programming and News Desks to create reliable budgets for each area of funding, and provides ongoing support to achieve grant goals and obligations- Records all organization pledges, releases of restricted net assets and other revenue recognition for monthly close- Trains and leads team to further develop knowledge of GAAP rules & regulations, as well as internal compliance and guidelines
