ABOUT NAHIN TAHER

I have around years of experience as a whole in the diverse fields and organizations, media houses and institutions such as: The Daily Star, SATV, SureCash, BRAC Institute of Educational Development, Dhaka Tribune, Maple Leaf, MasterMind, Awaj Foundation, Institute of Informatics and Development (IID) and Practical Action; which is associated with journalism, lifestyle journalism, reporting, marketing, communications, teaching, research, fundraising, public relations, administration, development work and programmatic departments of the development sector where I have extensively worked with print media, visual media. marketing organization, research organization, academic sector and marginalized communities in general. Apart from my regular JD, my scope of work also included working as a coordinating international visits, arranging and supporting senior management teams take vital organizational decisions, and monthly meetings along with taking effective meeting minutes for dissemination to all staff; I worked interdepartmental supporting in various internal and external activities which allowed me to gain organizational and participatory management skills. I am also actively developing myself in gender inclusivity since I am personally interested in creating a gender equal professional and personal environment. Because of both my academic and skilled based background, I am also skilled in data management and maintaining database (communication, knowledge materials, organizational documents) which shows my skills in Microsoft Office Suite.Personally, I am a novice writer at heart, a small entrepreneur of a small business page, passion for fashion designing and also a professional News presenter. I believe my diversified experiences, hardworking mentality and the determination to never give up, will allow me to positively contribute to any organization which I will further work in with all my dedication.
