ABOUT NADIA PIMENTEL
My journey at KCI Technologies has spanned more than two decades, and it continues to be one of growth, challenge, and purpose. I currently serve as Vice President and Discipline Director of the Clean Energy Engineering Discipline within KCI’s Energy Sector. Our team works at the intersection of generation, transmission, and large-load demand, supporting utilities, developers, and emerging energy users as the grid undergoes one of the most significant transformations in its history. My work focuses on advancing clean and resilient energy infrastructure through interconnection strategy, Distributed Energy Resources (DER), large-scale solar and energy storage, and generation solutions supporting hyperscale and high-load facilities.Over the past year, I have had the privilege of working with multidisciplinary teams supporting complex projects that integrate solar, battery storage, and transmission infrastructure while coordinating with developers, utilities, and consulting partners across multiple markets. These efforts require not only engineering expertise but also strategic coordination across permitting, interconnection, and evolving market frameworks. At KCI, I am equally committed to developing people and strengthening the organization. I focus on building collaborative teams, mentoring emerging leaders, and aligning our technical capabilities with the rapidly changing needs of the energy industry. The energy transition is not simply a technical challenge, it is a leadership challenge that requires curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to rethink how infrastructure is planned and delivered.I remain deeply committed to KCI’s growth as a trusted partner in the energy sector and to expanding the firm’s role in shaping the next generation of power infrastructure.I welcome opportunities to connect with professionals who are working to solve the complex challenges facing our energy systems.
