ABOUT MWIDIMI NDOSI

Associate Professor in Rheumatology Nursing at the University of the West of England and Honorary Professor of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures and Health Education in Rheumatology at Aarhus University.My research is guided by the principle of Educate, Empower, and Enable. I focus on empowering patients through rigorous measurement science to accurately capture and represent their voice; developing and evaluating complex non-pharmacological interventions that support self-management; and enabling health professionals by defining and operationalising standards of care.At UWE Bristol, I lead the NIHR INSIGHT MRes in Health and Care Research, a programme aligned with the national priority of developing the next generation of clinical academics across health and care professions.I currently serve as Editor-in-Chief of Rheumatology Advances in Practice.
